Elliot's Birthday Week I

In honor of our sweet boy and the celebration of his birthday week, I picked out a few letters that I have written to him and I will share them here. I know they are quite personal, but I hope you enjoy reading them.

dear arrow,
you are such a tiny bean growing in my belly right now, but every day you are growing stronger and bigger, just like our love for you. it's amazing how much we love you, and we have only known about you for 4 days! every day when i leave for work, daddy kisses you (my belly) goodbye. i laugh and tell him he is silly, but really i like it. i started taking pictures of my belly today so that we can watch you grow.
i have been praying that God will give daddy and i a special verse from the bible to begin praying over you. i can't wait for your little ears to form in a few weeks so that we can starting reading scripture to you! we want you to know and love Jesus more than anything else in the world. we believe that God is going to use to to do great things in His kingdom!
psalm 127 says blessed is the man who has a home full of children! arrow, you are the first of our (hopefully many) children, and we already feel so blessed.
